Training Topics

Climate Talk

Duration: 1hr

A keynote speech on climate change and sustainability to educate and empower students to take action

Plastic Action

Duration: 1hr

Emphasis on plastic education examining the causes, effects and solutions to plastic pollution. Students will be trained to peer educate other students on plastic. These workshops give students the tools to spread awareness about plastic throughout the school through peer education initiatives.

Transition your school to a single use plastic free campus by engaging students with a step-by-step action plan.

Sustainability Action

Duration: 1hr

It will give to frame sustainability and to motivate taking action, examining what actions can be taken in school and at home (double period or 2 hours)

Fast Fashion

The format of each lesson consists of a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation followed by interactive game activities to cement learning. It is delivered to students in a double class each week

Sustainable Transport

Sustainable transport is central to efforts to control greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution and environmental damage.This session bridges sustainable transport to social, environmental and climate impacts. We talk about the usage of Electic vechicles Vs and other mode of sustainaible transport

This training examines local and global biodiversity loss focusing on the problems and the solutions to restoring nature.

Explore and investigate a woodland/grassland habitat.

Examine the impacts climate change will have on the food system and ways to reduce your carbon footprint through the food we eat.

What is the purpose of our workshops?

Each workshop focuses on facilitating and empowering students to become confident, effective Peer Educators. The workshops provide students with the opportunity to explore local and global topics and to develop and learn NEW skills. By the end of the workshop’s students will be able to:
Know how to stay healthy and communicate effectively
Have an understanding of Sustainable Development from local to global
Be able to carry out effective group work and facilitation
Be able to take action with peers for a more sustainable world
